The Municipal Cultural Centre runs the Společenské centrum on the town square - a multifunctional, fully accessible venue that serves as a cinema, theatre, concert and lecture hall, and a space for balls and social events. The small ground-floor hall holds around 80 people, while the large first-floor hall has retractable seating for 144 and a terrace. Cinema screenings in Rožmitál go back to 1925, when a Sokol biograph was first set up in the local Sokol hall.
