The Municipal Cultural Centre in Chropyně occupies a building with a long past - a brewery stood here as early as 1550, when it belonged to the Olomouc archbishopric. The brewery closed in 1857-1858 and the building went through several uses before becoming a cultural centre. Today it hosts concerts, theatre performances, balls and other social events. The main hall holds 300 to 350 people, and smaller halls are available for private or commercial hire.
