Prague
Městská divadla pražská (Prague City Theatres, MDP) is the largest single-ensemble drama theatre in the Czech Republic, founded in 1950. It operates three stages in central Prague – ABC (Vodičkova St.), Komedie (Jungmannova St.) and Rokoko (Wenceslas Square). The repertoire spans Czech and international drama, musicals, festivals and international co-productions. Since 2018, MDP has been the only Czech theatre to hold membership in the Union of European Theatres (UTE).
