About the venue

Lumos opened in 2022 when a group of Brno students transformed long-disused premises on Křížová street into a venue combining a café, bar and theatre. The hall, with its heavy wooden roof beams, retains the industrial character of the original building. The programme ranges from theatre performances and concerts to workshops, lectures and literary readings, and the space is available for hire to both amateur and professional groups.
