Letňany Airport

Prague

About the venue

Prague Letňany Airport (LKLT) is one of the oldest Czech airports, with its history dating back to 1924 and the first flights in the Vysočany–Letňany area recorded as early as 1910. Located in Prague 18, it operates as a public domestic and non-public international aerodrome used for sport aviation, sightseeing flights and pilot training. The airport also serves as a venue for air shows, large open-air concerts and other cultural events. Since 2005, its grass airfield has been designated a national nature monument due to a critically endangered population of European ground squirrels.
