About the venue

Tábor Airport (ICAO: LKTA) is a public domestic airfield on the south-eastern edge of the city, near the E55 road towards Sezimovo Ústí. It has been in operation since 1946 and is run by Aeroklub Tábor. The airfield serves glider pilots, skydivers and powered-aircraft pilots, and regularly hosts air shows, concerts and model-aircraft meetings. Sightseeing flights by plane and hot-air balloon are also available.
