About the venue

The village cultural house in Nišovice, a small South Bohemian community in the Strakonice district, was built by the villagers themselves in the mid-1980s. It serves as the main venue for local social life - hosting balls, concerts, folk ensemble rehearsals and public meetings. In 2017 the building was insulated and fitted with a biomass boiler; the interiors were partly renovated in 2018.
