Kroměříž
Kroměříž is a historic town on the Morava River in the Zlín Region with around 28,000 inhabitants, nicknamed the "Athens of Haná" for its rich cultural life. The complex of the Archbishop's Castle, the Flower Garden and the Castle Garden was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998. The historic town centre has been a protected urban monument reservation since 1978. The castle gallery ranks as the second most significant painting collection in the Czech Republic after the National Gallery.
