About the venue

The Krkonoše Museum, run by the Krkonoše National Park Administration (KRNAP), is housed in a baroque chateau in Jilemnice and ranks among the oldest regional museums in Bohemia. Its permanent exhibitions cover the nature, history and folk culture of the Krkonoše Mountains, from geology and mountain flora to traditional crafts, folk costumes and rural housing. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions focused on the mountain region.
