Krakovec is a Gothic ruin dating from the late 14th century, built by Jíra of Roztoky and later associated with Jan of Jenštejn. It is best known as the last refuge of Jan Hus before he left for the Council of Constance in 1414. The castle now welcomes visitors and occasionally hosts open-air cultural events.
