About the venue

An early Gothic three-aisled basilica from the first half of the 14th century, located about 1.5 km from the centre of Kašperské Hory and considered the oldest stone building in the area. The interior retains Gothic wall paintings, intact arcades and a painted wooden ceiling from 1700, the work of mayor V. A. Groff. The complex includes a historic cemetery and the adjacent Baroque Chapel of St. Anne (1757). Guided tours are run by Kašperk Castle.
