About the venue

The Romanesque church of the Nativity of St John the Baptist in Svatý Jan pod Skalou is one of the oldest sacred buildings in central Bohemia. It stands at the foot of a massive limestone cliff that contains a cave tied to the legend of St Ivan. The church holds regular services and occasionally hosts sacred music concerts.
