About the venue

Konopiště is a Gothic castle rebuilt into a stately château near Benešov. It is best known as the favourite residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne. The estate features extensive English-style parklands, a rose garden, and remarkable collections of arms and hunting trophies. Today it operates as a museum and hosts various cultural events.
