About the venue

Komunitní centrum Konice was created by converting the town's former Sokol gymnasium - the council approved the project in 2016 and the centre opened in December 2019. The building has a hall with a stage, a foyer, a club room, and a fitted kitchenette for lecturers and participants. The centre focuses on strengthening community ties, organises lectures and educational events, and supports local associations as well as people at risk of social exclusion.
