About the venue

The Cistercian monastery at Zlatá Koruna was founded in 1263 by Přemysl Otakar II and ranks among the best-preserved Gothic monastic complexes in Bohemia. It is a national cultural monument. Visitors can tour the monastery church, the chapter house, and a rare two-storey cloister. The site regularly hosts classical music concerts and other cultural events.
