About the venue

The Benedictine monastery at Kladruby near Stříbro was founded in 1115 and ranks among the most important Romanesque-Gothic monuments in Bohemia. Its Church of the Assumption was remodelled in the Baroque Gothic style by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichl. Today the monastery opens to visitors and regularly hosts concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events.
