About the venue

Kunsthalle Praha is a centre for modern and contemporary art in Malá Strana, created by converting the Zenger electrical substation built in 1930-1931. The private non-profit institution was founded by the Pudil Family Foundation. Its programme revolves around temporary exhibitions of Czech and international art from the 20th and 21st centuries, alongside educational projects and workshops. The building houses three gallery spaces, a design shop, and a café with a terrace overlooking Petřín and Prague Castle.
