About the venue

KIS Malenice - the village's information and cultural centre - has been housed in a restored former rectory in the centre of the village since July 2014. Under one roof you'll find a tourist info desk, the local library, and the escape-room attraction "Farářova tajná komnata" (The Priest's Secret Chamber). The community hall hosts exhibitions, concerts, craft workshops and advent markets throughout the year. A permanent display celebrates notable figures from Malenice, including architect Josef Zítek, film director Zdeněk Podskalský and actress Jiřina Jirásková.
