About the venue

Kino Vatra has been running in Vsetín since 1980 and has been operated by Dům kultury Vsetín since 2006. The auditorium was renovated in 2009 - new seats, ceilings and air conditioning - and digitised the following year, gaining 3D projection and live-broadcast capability. The single-screen cinema seats around 250 people and is a member of the Europa Cinemas network, with close ties to the local Filmový klub Vsetín.
