About the venue

Kino Morava sits on náměstí Míru in the centre of Veselí nad Moravou and is one of the town's main cultural venues. It was built in the 1970s through the civic construction initiative known as "Akce Z", and in the 1980s it became home to the popular Klub náročného diváka (Discerning Viewer Club). A 2010 digitisation upgrade brought 3D projection capability. The 378-seat auditorium runs screenings Thursday through Sunday, with weekend afternoon shows for children. The venue is operated by Veselské kulturní centrum, which also stages other cultural events here.
