Sedlec

About the venue

The Gothic cathedral in Sedlec near Kutná Hora is one of the oldest Cistercian buildings in Bohemia, with roots going back to the 13th century. After being burned down during the Hussite wars, it was rebuilt in the early 18th century by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel in his distinctive Baroque-Gothic style. It forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the other monuments of Kutná Hora.
