About the venue

This Baroque palace on Malostranské náměstí was completed in 1714 by rebuilding two Renaissance houses to a design by Giovanni Battista Alliprand. It has been a protected monument since 1964 and forms part of the UNESCO-listed Prague Historic Centre. Opera star Ema Destinnová lived here from 1908 to 1911 - her former apartment and concert hall on the upper floors are still in use today. Nine rooms with a combined capacity of up to 400 guests now host conferences, concerts, exhibitions and weddings.
