About the venue

The Southern Gardens of Prague Castle are a chain of three historic gardens - the Garden of Paradise, the Garden on the Ramparts and the Hartig Garden - laid out on the southern slope of the castle hill. Shaped during the Renaissance and Baroque periods, they were redesigned in the 20th century by architect Josip Plečnik. The terraced grounds overlook Malá Strana and serve as a setting for cultural events and official ceremonies.
