About the venue

This permanent exhibition in Hronov is dedicated to Alois Jirásek, the Czech historical novelist born in this town. It is housed inside the Jiráskovo divadlo building and presents the writer's literary legacy alongside personal artefacts from his estate. Hronov also hosts an annual amateur theatre festival named after him.
