About the venue

Jánský Vrch is a medieval castle rebuilt into a château above the Silesian town of Javorník. For centuries it served as a residence of the bishops - and later archbishops - of Wrocław, who gradually shaped it into its current baroque form. Today it operates as a state-owned monument open to visitors, and occasionally hosts cultural events.
