About the venue
Velhartice Castle is a Gothic castle from the 14th century in south-west Bohemia, near Kašperské Hory. Its most distinctive features are a massive residential tower and a stone bridge connecting two palace wings. Administered by the National Heritage Institute, the castle is open to the public and hosts cultural events, knight festivals, and historical programmes.
