About the venue

The DOX by Qubus gallery shop opened in 2008 alongside the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Holešovice, occupying the building's mezzanine floor. Across 180 m² it stocks over 2,500 products by 90 designers - art glass, ceramics, porcelain, jewellery and interior accessories. The shop was founded by designer Jakub Berdych Karpelis, with the interior designed by the Qubus studio. In its very first year it won the Shop of the Year award at Czech Grand Design 2008.
