The Galerie výtvarného umění v Náchodě (GVUN) is a regional gallery founded in 1966, continuing the tradition of the city art gallery opened in 1934. Since 1983 it has been housed in the reconstructed Baroque castle riding school dating from the early 18th century. Its collection includes Russian 19th- and 20th-century painting – the third largest such collection in the Czech Republic – as well as Czech and European art. The gallery organises thematic and solo exhibitions and hosts the annual Náchod Art Autumn.
