About the venue

Galerie Optika Zlín (GꝎZ) has operated since 2012 as an exhibition space inside an optician's shop on třída Tomáše Bati. Curator Leoš Lang regularly presents solo shows by contemporary Czech and Slovak artists working in painting, sculpture, and installation. The setup is deliberately unconventional - art and everyday retail sharing the same room.
