Josefa Jambora Gallery

Tišnov

About the venue

The Galerie Josefa Jambora is a regional gallery in Tišnov, housed in the so-called Jambor House where academic painter Josef Jambor (1887–1964) lived and worked from 1931 to 1964. Founded in 1996 and reconstructed into a modern exhibition space in 2017, the gallery focuses on contemporary visual art, particularly artists exploring the theme of landscape and its transformations. It also preserves the art collection Jambor donated to the town, including his original studio, and organises educational programmes and workshops.
