About the venue

Olomouc (o)žije is a multi-genre street festival that turns the historic centre of Olomouc into an open-air stage for several days each year. It started in June 2021 as a celebration of the end of Covid restrictions and has since grown into the largest event of its kind in the Czech Republic. More than two hundred bands, dancers and street performers play for free on the squares and in the alleyways, with a children's programme, food zone and afterparties rounding out the schedule. The festival has been named the best event in the Olomouc Region and received the Počin roku (Event of the Year) award.
