About the venue

Faust House is a Gothic palace on Karlovo náměstí in Prague 2, later rebuilt in Renaissance and Baroque styles. Legend has it that the alchemist Doctor Faust lived here and sold his soul to the devil - hence the name. The building now belongs to Charles University and is not regularly open to the public.
