About the venue

The Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU in Prague (FSv) is the oldest and largest civil engineering faculty in the Czech Republic, located in the Dejvice campus. Its roots go back to 1707, when Emperor Joseph I signed the founding charter of the Estate Engineering School - the first public engineering school in Central Europe. The faculty took its current form in 1960 through the merger of three separate faculties. It trains specialists in civil engineering, architecture, geodesy and geoinformatics at bachelor's, master's and doctoral level.
