About the venue
Dům kultury Uherský Brod is a municipal cultural organisation that covers the town's entire cultural life. It brings together a theatre and concert hall, the Panský dům gallery, Kino Máj cinema, the František Kožík library, and an observatory with planetarium. The building forms the dominant northern side of Mariánské náměstí, its cascading marble-clad facade standing next to the Dominican monastery complex. The programme ranges from concerts and theatre to exhibitions, balls, and folk evenings with cimbalom.
