About the venue

Děčín Castle rises on a rocky promontory above the confluence of the Elbe and Ploučnice rivers. A medieval fortress rebuilt in baroque style during the 17th and 18th centuries, it served for generations as the seat of the Thun-Hohenstein family. Today it houses a museum and hosts concerts, exhibitions and social events. The Rose Garden terrace offers a sweeping view over the town.
