About the venue

Baroque church on Old Town Square, built between 1732 and 1737 to designs by Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. The interior features ceiling frescoes by Bavarian painter Cosmas Damian Asam and a crystal chandelier shaped like a tsar's crown, donated by the Russian tsar. Since 1920 the building has been in the care of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, which uses it as a concert hall renowned for its acoustics.
