About the venue

Černé divadlo Image is one of Prague's longest-running black light theatre companies, founded in 1989. It combines mime, dance and projection with the black-theatre technique, where performers dressed in black vanish against the backdrop while objects and figures lit by UV light appear to move on their own. The shows are wordless, making them easy to follow for foreign visitors, and run at the company's own venue in the city centre.
