Bumbálka

Bílá

About the venue

Bumbálka is a mountain pass at 870 m above sea level on the Czech-Slovak state border, in the cadastral area of the village Bílá in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mountains. The red and yellow hiking trails cross here - the red one runs along the border ridge as part of the Beskydská magistrála long-distance route. In winter the SKI Klema ski area operates lifts and a downhill slope; in summer the pass is a popular starting point for hikers and cyclists. Right on the border stands a monument to the 1st Czechoslovak Partisan Brigade of Jan Žižka, and the nearby Salajka National Nature Reserve protects a Carpathian old-growth fir-beech forest.
