Noisy Pots
Noisy Pots performs as part of the Léto na Prýglu 2026 summer programme.
The Brno Reservoir - known locally as Prýgl - sits on the Svratka River and was built between 1936 and 1940 by flooding the valley of the village of Kníničky. The 259-hectare body of water originally served as a drinking-water reserve and power source; today it is primarily a recreational area. Forests line both banks, offering hiking and cycling trails, while the water hosts canoeing, yachting, and water skiing. The international fireworks competition Ignis Brunensis takes place here each year, and public transport boats run from the Bystrc harbour to Veveří Castle.
