The Botanical Garden of the City of Prague, founded in 1898 in the Troja district, spreads across several terraced hillside plots above the Vltava river. It houses a large tropical greenhouse called Fata Morgana alongside outdoor collections of rock plants, ornamental grasses and a vineyard. The garden regularly hosts seasonal exhibitions and plant markets open to the public.
