About the venue

An open-air amphitheatre in the centre of Lipnice nad Sázavou, sitting right below the medieval castle. Throughout summer it hosts concerts, festivals and theatre shows - regular events include Rocková Lipnice, Folková Lipnice and Haškova Lipnice. A summer cinema also operates here, screening films in any weather: when it rains, the covered stage doubles as the auditorium. The illuminated castle and chapel are visible from the grounds.
