About the venue

Altenburg 1964 is a river cargo ship built in 1964 at the Boizenburg shipyard in northern Germany. In 1989 it was the last vessel to pass through the Iron Curtain, and in early 2017 it was saved from the scrapyard. Since 2018 it has been moored at the Troja Bridge in Holešovice, operating as a cultural club and live music venue focused on independent guitar and electronic acts.
