Rock in Protivín 2026
A one-day open-air festival featuring Czech bands Cocotte Minute, Alkehol, Horkýže Slíže, Traktor, and Trautenberk at the Platan brewery grounds in Protivín.
Protivín Brewery, once owned by the Schwarzenberg family, is among the oldest in South Bohemia - written records go back to 1540. The current complex in a woodland park was built in 1872-1876 and still produces Platan beer, named after the plane-tree avenue at the entrance. The historic brewhouse with copper kettles, including an unusual square wort kettle, remains in use to this day. Guided tours with tasting are available by prior reservation, and the Belveder restaurant operates on the premises.
