🎬 For Love

The story follows Sarah, a forty-year-old mother who balances caring for her two young sons, work obligations, and a relationship with her emotionally absent husband Antoine. Their marriage is on the brink of collapse under the pressure of daily exhaustion. During a family trip to the sea, their older son Simon disappears for a brief but terrifying moment. When Sarah finds him on the shore, he is soaked, running a fever, and behaving strangely. From that moment on, he is irresistibly drawn to water - he spends hours in the bathtub and constantly seeks out water, which increasingly troubles the family. While Antoine downplays the severity of the situation, Sarah is convinced that something more serious is happening. She decides to support her son unconditionally, believing that her love may be the only refuge in the face of the unknown. The film interweaves intimate family drama with psychological tension and explores how far parental love and maternal instinct can take parents when the well-being - and perhaps even the very identity - of their child is threatened.
