Four Walker siblings arrive in the Lake District to spend their holidays. On a boat called Swallow, they set out to an island in the middle of the lake, where they want to camp. On the island, many adventures await the children, whether it's a battle for the island with two other Blackett children (the Amazons), who are playing at being pirates, or a secret agent searching for Captain Flint, the Amazons' uncle.
