The plot of the action-comedy film by Hong Kong director and father of Asian action kung-fu films, Yuen Woo-ping, revolves around the always good-natured Eddie (Donnie Yen), an experienced master of original martial arts whose hobby is hip-hop music. He meets Mini (Yuen Woo-ping), who shortly thereafter falls head over heels in love with Eddie's older sister Ying (Wong Wan Si). His troubles are far from over, however, as Stella (May Lo), his own distant cousin, falls in love with him in turn, though she has no idea that Eddie has eyes for no one but the beautiful Anna (Anna Kamiyama), to whom his affection is also shown by Kenny (Kenny Perez). And the entire situation is perfectly complicated by the obsession of one successful fighter (Dick Wei), who has decided to challenge Eddie to a duel and make it clear to him who is the best kung-fu fighter in the city.
