Karel Höger (1909-1977) was one of the most prominent Czech actors of his generation. He is known for his voice work in Jiří Trnka's animated film Staré pověsti české (1953) and spent many years as a member of the National Theatre in Prague.
Růžena Nasková was a Czech actress and one of the most prominent figures of the National Theatre in the first half of the 20th century. She played the role of Libuše in the 1953 film Staré pověsti české. Her performances were known for a powerful voice and a commanding stage presence.
Otomar Krejča (1921-2009) was a Czech theatre director and one of the most significant figures in 20th-century Czech theatre, celebrated for his productions of Chekhov and Ibsen. He founded the Divadlo Za branou in 1965. As a film director he made, among other works, Staré pověsti české (1952).
