Seven-year-old Nora goes to school for the first time. Her older brother Abel is her support, and the shy Nora would like to spend time with him even during breaks. Instead of quiet play, however, the girl becomes a witness to bullying. Even though her brother does not wish it, Nora alerts the adults to it. Yet neither the parents nor the teachers are able to grasp the sensitive boundaries of relationships between children, which are full of fear in their search for their place in a world that can also be cruel.
