🎬 Hunger Strike Breakfast

The beginning of the 1990s, Vilnius. Lithuanian television star Daiva loses her job overnight when Russian soldiers occupy the television building. She is unable to drive out the armed forces, so she decides to declare a hunger strike. Only a handful of people join her in a small trailer opposite the occupied station, and the soldiers don't care at all. It seems that the fight to reclaim the television will be lost in a comically bleak clash of ambitions, reality, and empty stomachs. But as hunger grows, the strikers realize what they truly hunger for—human closeness, warmth, and the feeling that they are not alone in this.
