Les choix tremblants / Cirkus nevkus
World premiere of Daniel Kvašňovský's solo performance combining contemporary clowning, new circus, and physical theatre.
Don't expect red noses and oversized shoes here. Kvašňovský tells the story of a circus artist who takes the stage with a single goal - to perform the perfect show of his life. Except it doesn't quite work out that way. His character oscillates between absurd physical minimalism and grand gestures from glittering circus tents, so the search for perfection is sometimes comic and sometimes poignantly tragic.
The action unfolds during the winter solstice somewhere on the border between a circus tent and a sheep barn. The performance Les choix tremblants / cirkus nevkus is part of the third edition of Circus Nights.
Suitable from age 7.
